How do I take KEYTRUDA QLEX?
KEYTRUDA QLEX is a subcutaneous injection given just under the skin by your healthcare provider in 1 minute* every 3 weeks or 2 minutes* every 6 weeks in the stomach area or thigh. Your dosing schedule depends on the treatment plan your doctor prescribes.

Preparing for your first appointment

Before your appointment:
Arrange transportation to your appointment
Make sure you have someone to drive you to and from treatment, or another reliable method of transportation.
Wear clothing that allows easy access to the injection site
For example, shorts and a loose-fitting shirt will give the doctor or nurse access to your stomach area and thighs.
Be sure to bring the following to your treatment appointment:
- Any paperwork you need to fill out or have already filled out
- A list of all the medications you’re currently taking, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements
- Insurance cards

When should I speak up about side effects?
During treatment with KEYTRUDA or KEYTRUDA QLEX, side effects can occur and should be treated as early as possible. In clinical trials with KEYTRUDA and KEYTRUDA QLEX, some patients stopped treatment due to side effects. Tell your doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or that does not go away.

At some point, you may need to receive medical care from professionals who are not part of your cancer care team, such as emergency department staff. The mobile wallet card is an easy way to let them know you are currently taking KEYTRUDA QLEX.
This card is intended only for patients who have been prescribed KEYTRUDA QLEX and should be added directly to the patient’s phone. The card will appear in the same wallet app that holds things like tickets and credit cards.
